Thomas McConnell

Thomas McConnell is the principal of Redwood Management. Over the course of his career, he has overseen more than $3 billion in commercial real estate sales and finance transactions involving apartment communities and investment real estate assets throughout the United States. Thomas previously co-founded Redwood Realty Advisors and Redwood Capital Advisors, where he played a leadership role in the growth and oversight of the firms’ commercial real estate advisory, financing, and investment sales activities.
With more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Thomas has been involved in asset management, advisory, operational oversight, acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and ownership representation across a broad range of commercial real estate assignments.

Beyond the Firm
Prior to Redwood, Thomas served as Vice President of Investments and Director within Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi Housing Group, where he specialized in investment real estate advisory and institutional apartment transactions. Throughout his career, Thomas has combined institutional-level experience with hands-on operational understanding and long-term ownership perspective. He holds qualifications as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Thomas has also frequently been called upon to provide industry insight as a guest lecturer, speaker, and advisor within the commercial real estate industry. Thomas has also served in court-appointed receiver roles involving operational oversight of commercial real estate assets and related matters through the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Thomas possesses the professional credentials, qualifications, and approvals necessary to pursue government and public-sector real estate assignments involving property management, operational oversight, advisory services, and related commercial real estate initiatives. His leadership approach is centered around operational execution, ownership alignment, professionalism, and long-term relationship-driven real estate management and advisory services.
